Aideen qualified as a psychologist with The Open University in 2006 and then pursued a post-graduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which included a certificate in CBT with the University of Cumbria and a Diploma in CBT with the International Institute of Cognitive Therapy Belfast. An M.Sc. in Psychological Research Methods from the Open University was conferred in 2015. During training Aideen worked in the Psychiatric Services in Galway and is currently working in Student Counselling in NUI, Galway.
Aideen opened her private practice in December 2010. She sees clients in Galway Community Counselling which is situated on the east side of Galway in the Ballybane Enterprise Centre. and on the west side of Galway in The Triskel Centre, 22 Lenaboy Gdns. Salthill
